TORONTO, Ont. — Canadian Customs broker Farrow has announced the acquisition of CK Logistics, a Customs broker and logistics firm with locations in San Antonio and Houston, Texas.

Farrow says the acquisition will leverage its service offerings including cross-border, consulting and logistics.

“This acquisition provides us with a strong presence in the US southwest, one of the fastest growing markets in the US. Further, it provides us with a local presence for some relatively new large volume clients in the region,” said Richard Farrow, chairman and CEO of Farrow. “I’m sure Chris (Kuehler’s) team will merge seamlessly with ours, and a smooth transition will see clients of CK as well as those of Farrow experience increased capability in all facets of the services we provide.”

Kuehler founded CK Logistics in 2000.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for all concerned – our staff and our clients. Joining an organization like Farrow provides us with the additional resources to meet the growing needs of our clients,” he said. “Together, we’ll truly be able to provide peace of mind to our clients whether that be for customs brokerage or international freight forwarding services throughout North America. This transaction will also provide expanded opportunities for our staff as we will be joining one of North America’s premier providers of international trade services.”

CK Logistics will be rebranded to Farrow U.S. within 12-18 months, the companies announced.
