Stemco accuses Ridge Corp. of trailer tail patent infringements
LONGVIEW, Texas — ATDynamics and its new parent company Stemco have filed a patent infringement claim against Ridge Corp.
The company is asking the courts to stop Ridge Corp. from making or selling its Green Tail aerodynamic device, on the basis it infringes at least 30 patents owned by ATDynamics.
“We invest substantial resources into developing innovative and effective drag-reducing technologies for our customers,” said Bob Montgomery, vice-president of the Innovative Tire & Mileage Solutions Group for Stemco. “We also invest in our patent portfolio. In seeking an injunction, we are protecting our intellectual property to ensure that we can continue to develop and offer the best possible products for the industry.”
