Woodcock Brothers trailer promotes fire prevention

by Truck News

PERTH COUNTY, Ont. — Woodcock Brothers has donated the use of a new trailer as a rolling billboard to promote fire prevention.

The company has deployed the newly decaled trailer just in time for Fire Prevention Week from Oct. 4-10, according to a report in the Stratford Beacon Herald.

The graphics were donated by Snyders’ Graphics. Snyders and Woodcock Brother worked with the local fire department to create the campaign.

“Obviously driving down the road, we’re hoping that people can see (the truck’s message) and that obviously when it’s parked as well they can see the messages on the truck and just remind them to check their smoke alarms,” Fire Prevention Officer Todd McKone told the paper.

“I was a volunteer fireman with the Sebringville department for 15 years and I believe that supporting this department is very important for our community,” added Brad Woodcock, owner of Woodcock Brothers Express Freight. “We’re only happy to drag a message like that throughout Canada and North America to help people save their own lives by keeping their smoke (alarms) up and running.”
