by Truck News

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Bridgestone last week celebrated the 25th anniversary of its truck tire plant in Warren County, Tenn.

The company began producing truck and bus tires there in May 1990 and now employs 1,000 people there, producing about 9,000 truck and bus tires every day.

“Our Warren County Tire Plant is a model of excellence,” said Gary Garfield, president and CEO, Bridgestone Americas. “Strong businesses and great communities go hand-in-hand, and we are proud to celebrate this milestone with our teammates, friends, neighbors, customers, and elected officials. Together, we have created a production facility that is making a positive and lasting impact on Warren County and delivers world-class tires.”

Bridgestone celebrated the milestone by offering plant tours and treating employees and retirees to free thank-you lunches.
