Design you own Model 579 with Peterbilt’s new app
DENTON, Texas – Have some fun building your very own Peterbilt Model 579 with a new app that can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store.
“Peterbilt’s Model 579 configurator app provides an educational, entertaining way to engage with the most innovative and aerodynamic truck in the history of Peterbilt,” said Jorge Medina, Peterbilt’s director of marketing. “Users can experience the Model 579’s versatility and many premium options by building the truck of their dreams or experimenting how to optimize the truck for various applications.”
Users can choose a truck or tractor, day cab of sleepers, different hood lengths, exterior colours, powertrain packages and a full range of fairings and closeouts to construct the most aerodynamic and fuel efficient vehicle; the Model 579 EPIQ.
