CITT Toronto Area Council tackles impact of security on logistics & trade

TORONTO, Ont. The CITT Toronto Area Council is hosting a forum on the impact of security on logistics and trade this June 6.

The dinner event will include the following speakers:

– Trent Cosgrove, a consultant with TCA Limited, who will provide an overview of Customs/Border security programs;
– Michael Pinto, manager domestic & transborder, Maersk Canada Inc., who will share his insights on the impact of new security measures on containerized cargo;
– Christopher Reed, auto & cargo theft specialist with York Regional Police, will provide tips on how to protect cargo;
– John R. Nay, U.S. Consul General in Ontario, will address security concerns and their impact on US-Canada trade

The session will be moderated by Transportation Media editorial director Lou Smyrlis.

The fees are as follows:
CITT students – $40 wit h proof of registration in a current CITT course;
CITT – $45
General public – $55
