YRC and YRC Reimer re-validate certification in C-TPAT program

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. — -YRC Worldwide Inc. announced today that YRC and YRC Reimer have successfully completed their re-validation in the U.S. Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program.

“As an industry leader, we work with federal agencies to develop transportation requirements for programs, similar to C-TPAT that improve supply-chain security while keeping our borders open to legitimate trade,” said Mike Smid, president – YRC Inc., and chief operations officer – YRC Worldwide.

All eligible YRC Worldwide subsidiaries, including YRC, are border-security compliant and certified in the C-TPAT program as well as the Canada Partners in Protection (PIP) program; the Free and Secure Trade (FAST) program of the Canadian and U.S. governments; and the Customs Self-Assessment (CSA) program.
