AMTA announces dates for driver appreciation day BBQs

EDMONTON, Alta. — The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA)  announced the dates for its annual summer-long salute to truck drivers today.

The BBQ dates are launched in conjunction with National Trucking Week and salutes the men and women who keep the province of Alberta on the move. To host the event, the AMTA partners with Alberta Commercial Enforcement.
Driver appreciation days will be held at Alberta inspection stations as follows:

  • Leduc: Sept. 2, 2015
  • Grande Prairie: Sept. 9, 2015
  • Airdrie: Sept. 11, 2015
