CITT’s Manitoba-area council elects new executive team

WINNIPEG, Man. – CITT’s Manitoba-area council has elected a new executive for 2011. The results are as follows:

Chair – Darcy Calder, manager of Canadian operations, GHY International (returning for a second term)

Vice-chair – Kelvin Martyniuk, corporate international shipping coordinator, Pollard Banknote

Treasurer – Don Connolly, inventory analyst, Monsanto Canada (returning for a second term)

Secretary – Gord Kostinuik, sales coordinator, Wescon Equipment

Returning members to council are Nova Parent, Nick Popovic and Jane Bridges as members-at-large and John Baron and Jim Bell as advisors. New members to council in 2011 include are Gwen Brambilla and Bruce Goodridge as members-at-large.

“The Manitoba Council enjoyed another great year in 2010 and we look forward to building upon the successes we have had going forward into 2011,” Calder said. “Once again Manitoba has a strong council that will work to bring value to our members as well as working to promote and build the CITT in the province of Manitoba in support of the CITT’s National Business Plan.”
