LONDON, Ont. — NAL Insurance has launched a new interactive Web site and mobile app.

The new Web site boasts several new features, including a mobile-friendly platform that recognizes device type and adjusts resolution and functionality accordingly (including full functionality for IOs (Apple), Android, Blackberry and Windows Mobile devices); an Our Trucker photos section, featuring photos from fleets and O/Os; and a social networking platform, used, in part, to help raise awareness for NAL’s Trucking for Wishes charity.

NAL’s new “Truckside” app features include the latest industry news and videos (courtesy of TruckNews.com), and an interactive community feature, which allows drivers to share photos and messages with fellow truckers, friends, and family members while on the road. The app also features several trucker tools, including its Diesel Prices Finder, Scale Finder, a real-time display of Canadian and US border wait times, and more.

“We now have 216 fleets accessing our online administration portal every day,” says Chris Henry, vice-president and general manager. “These new system enhancements will provide a much more efficient and user friendly customer experience.”

The app is available for download at the newly revamped Web site, http://www.nalinsurance.com.
