Time is running out to register for OTA executive conference

TORONTO, Ont. – The 89th annual OTA executive conference is quickly approaching and seats are running out for the event, organizers say.

The OTA conference is running November 4-5 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in downtown Toronto and includes a variety of educational sessions, networking opportunities, an awards dinner and a spousal program.

This year, the spousal program allows attendees to spend the day with Cityline stylist, Lynn Spence. Spouses will be able to shop and attend a holiday fashion show during the event.

In preparation for the one-on-one consultations segment of the program, the OTA says spouses participating should either bring a printed colour photo of any outfit in your closet or any room in your living space or email it ahead of time to jackie.dobrowolski@ontruck.org by October 31.

This year, the OTA has revamped its speaker lineup. Attendees of the conference will hear from Michael Wekerle, a “rock star in the world of Canadian finance, having made many fortunes investing in tech and media companies”; Shaun Majumder, a comedian and cast member of This Hour of 22 Minutes; Captain David Marquet, who was in the US submarine force for 28 years; Dr. Kimberley Amirault-Ryan, the first female performance consultant for the New York Rangers, the New York Knicks, the Columbus Blue Jackets, and the Edmonton Oilers; and Mark Bowden, communications expert.
