TORONTO, Ont. — TransCore Link Logistics has partnered with ALK Technologies to add PC*MILER routing and mileage services to the Canadian version of 3sixty Freight Match.

By integrating PC*MILER directly within the Canadian 3sixty Freight Matching software and online services, a broker or carrier can immediately calculate and display truck-specific mileage from the origin to destination along with total load distances, providing essential data needed to complete a transaction in an expedited manner.

With PC*MILER’s mileage information displayed when a new load appears, companies can rate a shipment and quickly finalize new business transactions, expediting and consolidating multiple processes.

Member companies also have access to full routing details and state mileage breakouts within their 3sixty Freight Match program. The information allows customers to provide accurate routing to their drivers while the state breakouts provide an easy-to-use tool for determining mileages driven in each state and calculating fuel taxes more effectively.

Close to 5,000 Canadian-based companies utilize the Canadian version of 3sixty Freight Match service to post their available freight and reduce empty miles. Collectively, these companies make close to two million requests daily within the freight-matching database.
