HAMILTON, Ont. —  The Truck Training Schools Association of Ontario (TTSAO) has set the agenda for their second annual conference.

The annual conference, titled “Striving for Excellence in Training” is scheduled for February 15-16 at the Centre for Health and Safety Innovation in Mississauga, Ontario.

“This year the conference committee has done an outstanding job of putting together a fantastic agenda that we hope will exceed the expectations of our attendees,” said Charlie Charalambous, TTSAO conference committee chairman. “The TTSAO 2017 conference has been designed to be affordable, educational and most importantly, fun to be at.”

The conference is once again laid out in a two-day format; day one will include a TTSAO Carrier Group meeting, a TTSAO Board of Directors’ meeting (Directors only) followed followed by the association’s annual general meeting which is open to all members and those who are thinking of joining. After the General Meeting, there will be a cocktail party and registrants will be able to visit companies and sponsors who are participating in the trade show.

Day two will feature presentations and panels from some of the industry’s best on Mandatory Entry Level Training, rebuilding the image of trucking and women in trucking.

Additionally there will be representation from the provincial government along with an engaging presentation from Healthy Trucker.

Following the successful format of the first conference the afternoon session will be “The Stan and Mike Show”, featuring a candid conversation about trucking with one of the industry’s best, Mike McCarron – President of Left Lane Associates.

TTSAO members and associate members can attend for only $199.00 plus HST per registrant and $249.00 plus HST for non-TTSAO members.
